Formation: Gun Trips HB Wk
Play: Close X Fade
Setup:
- Hot route your X/square receiver to a corner and custom stem him down
- Hot route your running back to a flat
Reads:
- Your first read is between the X/square receiver on the corner and the running back in the flat
- Then look to the RB/R1 receiver on the slant
- Finally look to the A/X receiver on the right side
Overview: This is a great base play that you can call anywhere on the field that has really easy reads.

Play: Close X Fade (Match Coverage Beater)
Setup:
- Hot route your B/circle receiver to an out route and custom stem it up to 10 yards
- Hot route the A/X receiver to a corner
- Hot route the X/square receiver to a streak route
- Block your running back
Reads:
- Your primary read against Cover 4 Quarters, Cover 4 Palms, and Cover 6 is the A/X receiver on the corner route
Overview: If your opponent is sitting in match coverage all game, hit him with this play when it matters for an easy touchdown.

Play: Close X Fade (Cover 3 Beater)
Setup:
- Make sure you are on the left hash mark
- Hot route the A/X receiver to a corner and custom stem him up 3 times on the D-pad
- Hot route your B/circle receiver to a comeback
- Block your running back
- Hot route your X/square receiver to a drag or another route you can use as a checkdown
Reads:
- Your primary read on this play is the A/X receiver deep against cover 3
Overview: This is a decent way to beat cover 3 defenses deep, although we have an even more effective one below.

Setup:
- Left hash mark preferred
- Block your running back
- Hot route the B/Circle receiver to a fade
Reads:
- Your primary read on this play is the X/square receiver deep against cover 3
Overview: It helps to have your fastest receiver lined up at the X/square spot to get the most separation possible.

Play: Mtn Slot Cross (Other Coverages)
Setup:
- (Optional) Hot route your running back to a streak if you expect zone coverage
- Ho route your B/circle receiver to a fade route
Reads:
- Against cover 2, look to the A/X receiver deep
- Against man to man coverage, look to the RB/R1 receiver on the crossing route
Overview: This setup does a great job of also beating Cover 2 and man to man defense.

Play: Close Stick Flat (Short Routes)
Setup:
- Make sure you are on the left hash mark
- Hot route your X/square receiver to a drag or a deep crossing route (or some other in-breaking route)
Reads:
- Your first read is always the running back in the flat on a quick pass
- Then look to the other side of the field reading between the B/circle receiver and the RB/R1 receiver
Overview: This play is an absolutely nightmare for any zone coverage to defend. It is important that if you see a player open, you hit him immediately.

Play: Close Stick Flat (Deep Routes)
Setup:
- Make sure you are on the left hash mark
- Hot route your X/square receiver to a streak
- Hot route the A/X receiver to a post
Reads:
- You go through your short reads the same way as before, only this time you have your X/square receiver deep if the short routes are taken away
Overview: The route combination we added here gives you a credible deep option against every coverage in the game. But remember not to wait for the deep route to get open if a short route gets open first.

Setup:

- Hot route your running back to a flat route
Reads:
- There are a lot of different things we are looking for with this play that we cover in the video
Overview: You will want to take note to see if your opponent is using zone drops based on if your receivers are getting pressed at the line of scrimmage.

Setup:
- Hot route your RB/R1 receiver to a streak if you notice your opponent is using zone drops
Reads:
- Your primary read on this play is the RB/R1 receiver if your opponent is using zone drops
Overview: Just make sure your opponent’s user defender isn’t in the area and this throw can get you a huge gain.

Play: Choice Zig (Man Beating Concepts)
Setup:
- Hot route both outside receivers to fade routes
- Hot route the A/X receiver to a streak
Reads:
- Against man press coverage if there isn’t safety help over the top you an often his the fade routes
- Against Cover 2 man from Nickel formations, look to the A/X receiver deep
- You also have the RB/R1 receiver on the zig route that works really well against man
Overview: This is a very situational play that you only want to call if your opponent is playing either Cover 1 press or Cover 2 man.

Overview: Just view your opponent’s defensive alignment before the snap. Most of the time we’ll just hand the ball off to the running back regardless of what the read defender does.

Setup:
- Make sure you are on the left hash mark
- Custom stem the A/X receiver up once on the D-Pad
- Hot route your RB/R1 receiver to a streak
- Hot route your B/circle receiver to a fade
- Hot route your running back to a streak
- Hot route your X/square receiver to a return route
Reads:
- Against Cover 4 Drop, your first read is the A/X receiver deep. Lead pass to the left
- Against Cover 2 zones, look to the B/circle receiver. Lead pass to the sideline
- Against Cover 3, look to the RB/R1 receiver
- Against Cover 2 Man, look to the A/X receiver deep
- Against Cover 1 Press, look to the B/circle receiver on the fade
Overview: This play has really good reads against every coverage shell in the game outside of match coverage or a Cover 0.
