Formation: Singleback Doubles Flex
Play: Stretch
Setup:
- (Optional) Flip the run to the side you want to run to
Overview: Just make one defender miss and you could be looking at huge gains.
Formation: Singleback Doubles Flex
Play: HB Dive
Setup: None required
Overview: Mix this play in with Stretch so your opponent doesn’t key in on the outside runs.
Formation: Singleback Doubles Flex
Play: Slot Post
Setup:
- Block your HB and snap it right away.
Reads:
- Look to your A/X receiver
- Then look to the Y/triangle receiver on the post route
Overview: The main play out of this formation is stretch so to give them a different look i like to quick hike this and TE post play. They may think its a run and be caught off guard. If they base align press out of cover 3 or 4 you’ll have the streak for a TD.
Formation: Singleback Doubles Flex
Play: TE Post
Setup:
- Block your HB and snap it right away.
Reads:
- Look to your A/X receiver on the post route
- Then look to your X/square receiver on the drag
- Your last read is the Y/triangle receiver on the corner route
Overview: This is just another play to keep your opponent not committing to the Stretch running play.
Formation: Singleback Y Trips
Play: HB Toss
Setup: None required
Overview: Just follow your blockers. This play works well against blitzes up the middle.
Formation: Singleback Y Trips
Play: Double China
Setup:
- Drag the B/circle receiver
- Slant the RB/R1 receiver and motion him to the other side of the formation
Reads:
- Look to the RB/R1 receiver on the slant first
- Your next read is the corner route to A/X
- Then look to the X/square receiver on the post route
- Your last look is the B/circle receiver on the drag
Overview: This is a great route combo because you have some quick checkdowns if you get blitzed and that distract the user. And then the X post gets into a soft spot that should be open if the user does not cover it.
Formation: Singleback Y Trips
Play: Square Out
Setup:
- Drag the A/X receiver
- Slant the RB/R1 receiver and motion him to the other side of the formation
Reads:
- Look to the RB/R1 receiver on the slant first
- Your next read is the A/X receiver on the drag
- Then look to the X/square receiver on the post route
Overview: Again I love this route combo because you have some quick checkdowns if you get blitzed and that distract the user. And now the post is on the other side so they may be looking for the post on the left side of the field but this time it comes to the right.
How do you save this offensive set? It doesn’t appear in the play books to save?
Am I crazy or are none of these pass plays in the actual game this year?
That are found in the west coast playbook but many of the plays aren’t available in custom playbooks.
Best ebook thus far imo. Great job showing the set ups and getting right to the point. Also, thanks for showing some gameplay at the end. That is always nice.
Agree with above post; this scheme is awesome in H2H MUT!
Thanks for the feedback man. Glad it is working out well for you!
This ebook looks great!
West Coast playbook it is pretty expensive though.
Trying to snipe it 🙂
Thank you for another great ebook!!!
Glad you like it. Thanks for your support every year!
you guys should upload this playbook to madden community files so we can download it and add some of our other custom plays we want to mix in the playbook.. I dont want to use strictly the west coast playbook just to be able to obtain all the plays and not be able to throw in some other plays/offense e-books you guys provide.
Any suggestions?
Unfortunately, you can’t customize the West Coast playbook or use formations in it in custom playbooks.
