Playbook: Philadelphia Eagles

Formation: Singleback Deuce Y Flex

Play: PA Deep Cross (Setup 1)

Setup:

  1. Put the A/X tight end on a drag route
  2. Put the Y/Triangle tight end on a drag route
  3. Put the X/Square receiver on a streak
  4. Block the running back

Reads:

  1. First you have the two drags routes underneath quick
  2. Then the main read on the play is the B/O receiver deep to the left of the field

Overview: This is the simple, fast, and effective setup for this play. The B/O receiver’s route is incredibly difficult to guard in Madden 18. Most of the time requires your opponent to user the route taking their user out of the play.

  4. Finally, look for the Y/Triangle receiver on either the streak or the drag

Overview: This is a more complex setup for this play however it is extremely effective. Making use of the motion to distract your opponent can keep them guessing on what you are going to do.

Setup:

  4. Motion the B/O receiver to the left a couple steps and hike
