Formation: Pistol Full House Base

Play: Wing PA Cross (Version 1)

Setup:

1. Use either the Three HB package or the HB2 FB Sub package
2. Hot route the X/square receiver to an out route and smart route him
3. Block your Y/triangle tight end
4. Put your RB/R1 running back on a swing to the left
5. Put the A/X receiver on a wheel route

Reads:

1. Against a cover 3 defense or a cover 2 defense with a MLB in a deep blue zone, look to the B/circle receiver deep for a touchdown
2. If he isn’t there, look to your running back on the swing route to the left as a check down option

Overview: This play absolutely destroys cover 3 defenses. It can help to have a fast wide receiver in the B/circle spot. Keep in mind you can flip this play and do all of the same steps (but obviously to the other side) and the play will still work.

Setup:

1. Use either the Three HB package or the HB2 FB Sub package
2. Put both wing players on swing routes
3. Put both outside receivers on comeback routes
4. Block your running back

Reads:

1. You have a high-low read on each side of the field. Unless your opponent has hard flats and cloud flats on both sides of the field, one of your players should get open
2. Against man to man coverage, the comeback routes will get open

Overview: This play is incredibly hard to stop. It looks so simple but it is a nightmare to defend against. Keep running it until your opponent proves he knows how to stop it

Setup:

1. Use either the Three HB package or the HB2 FB Sub package
2. Hot route your X/square receiver to an out route
3. Put your Y/triangle receiver on a streak route
4. Smart route the A/X running back
5. Block your R1/RB running back

Reads:

1. Your primary read on this play is always the A/X running back on his crossing route
2. If he is covered, your B/circle receiver will usually be open

Overview: We mix in this play when our opponent starts really defending the sidelines. This play has 2 routes attacking the middle of the field.

2. (Optional) Flip the play

Overview: This is a really effective running play if your opponent isn’t sending a run blitz. Make sure to mix it in to keep your opponent honest.

Overview: This play can often result in a big gain if the blocks set up well for you.

Setup:

1. Put your B/circle receiver on an out route and smart route him
2. Block your RB/R1 receiver
3. Put your Y/triangle receiver on a wheel route
4. Put the A/X running back on a swing route to the left

Reads:

1. The X/square receiver should get wide open deep against cover 3 defenses
2. Look to the A/X running back on a swing to the right as your check down option

Overview: This is another play that destroys cover 3 defenses from this formation.
