Play: Cover 2 Buster

Setup:

1. Base Align
2. (Optional) Pinch your defensive line
3. (Optional) Pinch your linebackers
4. Put one of your defensive ends into a zone

Overview: This is one of the best coverage plays in the game.  It is incredibly hard for your opponent to figure out who is in man to man coverage and who is in zone coverage.  This should be the play you call out of the Nickel Normal formation most of the time.  Every now and then mix in a blitz.

Play: Safety Strong 3

Setup:

1. (Optional) Shade coverage underneath
2. (Optional) Crash your defensive line down

Overview: This play brings really quick pressure between the left tackle and left guard.  You may need to manually move your blitzing safety down.

Formation: Nickel Normal

Play: Overload Blitz

Setup:

1. Bluff Blitz your LB on the left side of the screen
2. (Optional) Put your defensive end on the right side of the screen into a zone

Overview: This is a 4 man rush that works if your opponent isn’t blocking extra guys.  Make sure to have a fast blitzing cornerback subbed in.

Play: Under Smoke 2

Setup:

1. Base Align
2. Press coverage
3. Crash your defensive line down
4. Bluff blitz your linebacker on the left
5. Put your defensive end on the right into a zone

Overview: This play has a few more adjustments but it is the zone version of the Overload Blitz play.

Play: Buck Slant Show 2

Setup:

1. Base Align
2. Press Coverage
3. (Optional) Crash defensive line down
4. (Optional) Put your DE on the right into a zone

Overview: This is a 5 man rush that gets pressure from either the blitzing cornerback or the linebacker.

Play: Overstorm Brave

Setup:

1. Pinch and crash your defensive line down
2. Pinch your linebackers
3. (Optional) Put your DE on the right into a qb spy

Overview: This play brings very fast heat.  If your opponent is able to block it, keep the DE on the right on his blitz.  Make sure you have a very fast defensive end on the left.  It is the key to this play.

Play: Overstorm Brave (Version 2)

Setup:

1. Pinch and crash your defensive line down
2. Pinch your linebackers
3. Bluff blitz both linebackers

Overview: This is a 4 man rush that brings really good heat.  It is the more advanced version of this play.  Make sure to have fast defensive ends subbed in.

2. Pinch your linebackers
3. Bluff blitz both linebackers

Overview: This is just the zone version of the Overstorm Brave play.  Make sure to have fast defensive ends in the game.
