?Playbook: Kansas City Chiefs
Formation: Nickel 2-4-5 Double A Gap
Play: Nickel Dog 2
Setup:
- Base Align
- Press Coveraeg
- Crash your defensive line right
Overview: This was a great blitz in Madden 17, and if you set it up a little differently than you did last year it is a great blitz in Madden 18 as well. It is a minimal setup blitz that creates extremely fast pressure from the left edge.
You can also flip this play and have the same pressure from the opposite side, the only adjustment for this would be crashing to the left side instead of the right like you normally would.
Playbook: Kansas City Chiefs
Formation: Nickel 2-4-5 Double A Gap (Flipped)
Play: Nickel Overload 3
Setup:
- Base Align
- Press Coverage
- Crash your defensive line left
Overview: This is a great blitz that I like to mix in throughout the game to give my opponent some different pressure looks. It is a minimal step blitz so it is great for those opponents who like to quick hike and spam one play. Another reason why this blitz is great is because slide protection will not pick it up.
You can continue to get this pressure off the right side and it will take your opponent a couple of plays to realize that they cannot pick this pressure up even if they slide protect.

For Crash your defensive line left its RB or LB
It is LB.
just curious, are there any good coverage plays you suggest from these formations? Most players are good enough to read these blitzes before they get there.
