Formation: Nickel 2-4-5 DBL A Gap
Play: Mid Blitz (Version 2 – Dual Edge Heat)
Setup:
- Hot route the guy covering the running back to a qb spy and place him over the left tackle.
Overview: After the ball is snapped, wait 1 second over the left tackle and then drop back into coverage. Every if your opponent is blocking an extra guy, you should still get unblocked pressure.

Formation: Nickel 2-4-5 DBL A Gap
Play: Nickel Dog 2
Setup:
- Base Align
- Blitz all your linebackers
- Put your OLB on the left into a QB spy
- Press coverage
- Adjust the zones behind it however you’d like
Overview: This is an extremely advanced blitz that should only be called by people who know what they are doing. If you call this at the wrong time, you can give up huge chunks of yardage.
A Bengals Defense PB Ebook would be dope…I like the Double A gap Nickel formation they have
