Madden NFL 17 San Francisco 49ers Team Breakdown

The San Francisco 49ers are a lower end team in Madden NFL 17.  They don’t have too many playmakers and they have a lot of holes on their team.

We’ve got the full Madden 17 San Francisco 49ers team breakdown below.

Team: San Francisco 49ers

Offensive Strategy: Run the ball.  Your best hope of winning with the 49ers is to shorten the game.  So run the ball with Carlos Hyde and every now and then Colin Kapernick.

Defensive Strategy: Aggressive 3-4.  You will need to make a few plays with the 49ers defense if you want to win in Madden 17 so get aggressive and take some chances.

Impact Players: QB Colin Kaepernick, HB Carlos Hyde, WR Torrey Smith, LT Joe Staley, RE DeForest Buckner, DT Ian Williams, MLB Navorro Bowman, ROLB Aaron Lynch, FS Eric Reid, SS Antoine Bethea

Strengths: Safety.  Eric Reid and Antoine Bethea are a good safety duo that should be able to make a few plays per game.

Weaknesses: Pretty much everything.  The 49ers have a lot of weaknesses so it is tough to just name 1 area.  They could definitely use an upgrade at quarterback, receiver, defensive line and cornerback.

Overview: You shouldn’t use the 49ers in Madden 17 unless you are a true hardcore fan.  They will not be able to compete with most other teams.

LE Arik Armstead is also impactful imo. Armstead and Buckner have chemistry due to their history in Oregon. Those behemoths have a lot of potential to cause havoc in the NFL!

Armstead already has 5 sacks in 5 weeks in 17.

I use the 9ers and am rebuilding. Armstead and Buckner are good. Both in pass rush and run stop. Moved dial to NT, picked up some low key adds that play well within my system. Also traded Trent brown for Andrus Peat in prep for the moving of joe Staley in the offseason. With bowman out its hard to get stops but I like the 24-21 games or 17-14 instead of 45-35. The combo of Hyde/Davis is nice. I have absolute studs on the practice squad too.
