The New York Jets look to be a little improved in Madden 17 from last year’s team but they still aren’t at the level of some of the best teams in the game.
We’ve got the full Madden NFL 17 New York Jets team breakdown below.
Team: New York Jets
Offensive Strategy: Balanced. Matt Forte is a big upgrade at running back and the Jets have some good receivers in Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall. Their big problem is they don’t have an established starter at quarterback. The running game and receivers should make up for that though.
Defensive Strategy: Get after the quarterback. One look at the Jets defensive line should have your opponents scared. Darron Lee is going to be an absolute Madden stud based on his physical skills.
Impact Players: HB Matt Forte, WR Brandon Marshall, WR Eric Decker, C Nick Mangold, LE Muhammad Wilkerson, LE Leonard Williams, RE Sheldon Richardson, DT Steve McLendon, ROLB Darron Lee, CB Darrelle Revis, CB Dee Milliner, SS Calvin Pryor
Strengths: Defensive line. The Jets defensive line should be able to control a game. They should be able to stop most runs and you won’t have to send too many extra guys on a blitz to get pressure.
Weaknesses: Quarterback. The Jets desperately need to find a good quarterback. That is one of the only pieces this team is missing. Once they find a QB, they will become a top tier Madden team. Until then, they are a middle of the pack team in Madden 17.
Overview: The Jets should be a fun team to use if you are a fan of theirs. Other than that, you won’t see too much of them online.
