Madden NFL 17 New York Giants Team Breakdown

The New York Giants come into Madden 17 with a few really good strengths to go along with some glaring weaknesses.

If you use the Giants right you will have no problem competing against most people you play.

We’ve got the full Madden 17 New York Giants team breakdown below.

Team: New York Giants

Offensive Strategy: Air it out.  The Giants have a good quarterback and 2 really good receivers.  Mix the run every now and then to keep your opponent honest but for the most part you should be passing a lot.

Defensive Strategy: Get after the quarterback.  The Giants have an incredibly strong defensive line.  You won’t have to send more than 4 guys to get pressure on the other team’s QB which should make it much easier to get stops on defense.

Impact Players: QB Eli Manning, WR Odell Beckham Jr., WR Victor Cruz, LG Justin Pugh, C Weston Richburg, LE Olivier Vernon, RE Jason Pierre-Paul, DT Damon Harrison, DT Johnathan Hankins, CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB Janoris Jenkins, CB Eli Apple

Strengths: Defensive line.  The D-line is the real strength of this New York Giants team in Madden 17.  They have 2 really good defensive ends and 2 good defensive tackles.

Weaknesses: Linebacker.  The Giants could use a lot of help at linebacker.  Luckily the defensive line and cornerbacks are pretty strong so you should be able to mask the problem at linebacker a little.

Overview: The New York Giants are a middle of the road team in Madden 17.  They aren’t one of the best teams but aren’t one of the worst teams.

  1. eli manning an 81 ? seriously .? this has to be a joke .. the man has been playing at a top 5 level for the past to seasons. you seriouly have to fix that

    1. Couldnt agree more…Eli is at minimum a 86 OVR and should be at least 89 OVR coming in to season

  2. There are only maybe 7 to 8 other QBs that could have highr OVR then Eli.

  3. I can’t believe Eli Manning is a 81 really??
