Madden NFL 17 Miami Dolphins Team Breakdown

The Miami Dolphins come into Madden 17 with a team that true fans will have no problem using but don’t expect to see a lot of people using them online.

We’ve got the full Madden 17 Dolphins team breakdown below.

Team: Miami Dolphins

Offensive Strategy: Passing Attack.  The Dolphins running backs are still very young.  While one of them could break out, you will want to focus more on the passing game.  The Dolphins have 4 good receiving options and Ryan Tannehill is a good enough Madden quarterback to get the ball to them.

Defensive Strategy: Aggressive 4-3.  Cameron Wake and Mario Williams should dominate the edges while Ndamukong Suh holds strong in the middle of the line.  You’ll need to put some pressure on the other team’s quarterback when you are playing against some of the strong passing attacks in the NFL.

Impact Players: QB Ryan Tannehill, WR Jarvis Landry, WR DeVante Parker, WR Kenny Stills, TE Jordan Cameron, LE Cameron Wake, RE Mario Williams, DT Ndamukong Suh, LOLB Koa Misi, MLB Kiko Alonso, ROLB Jelani Jenkins, CB Byron Maxwell, CB Ifo-Ekpre Olomu, SS Reshad Jones

Strengths: Defensive line, wide receiver and strong safety.  Reshad Jones by himself should be good for 1 forced fumble or interception per game while your defensive line shouldn’t have a problem getting sacks.  The Dolphin’s depth at receiver will make it hard for your opponent to contain your offense.

Weaknesses: Running back.  The Dolphins have a couple young up-and-comers but in terms of Madden, they just aren’t at a level where they can take over a game.

Overview: The Miami Dolphins are a middle of the road Madden 17 team.  They definitely aren’t one of the best teams, but they are far from one of the worst teams too.

Pretty accurate assessment. Also, keep your depth chart accurate and use subs in right situations.

What are some tips on substitutions with the fins. I’m playing in an online league for the 1st time and mistakenly put drake on the practice squad; he was scooped up as a result and is no longer A subbing option btw.. Historically, I’ve played exclusively with the Cowboys so needless to say this year has been an extreme adjustment. I just can’t seem to execute in the Red zone. You seem to play with the Dolphins. Any tips or even a scrimmage would be greatly appreciated.

Good breakdown, I have also noticed Kenyan drake is pretty good sleeper for a rookie!!
