The New York Jets are easily a top 10 Madden team and I guarantee they will be one of the choices that many pro Madden gamers will use.  They have just about everything you need except a big time running back.

We have the full Madden 16 team breakdown for the Jets below.

Team: New York Jets

Offensive Strategy: Get the ball to your big receivers.  Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, and Jace Amaro are all big targets who will be able to take advantage of the new aggressive catch animations in Madden 16.  Geno Smith is a much better Madden quarterback than he is an NFL quarterback so that should help as well.

Defensive Strategy: Whatever you want.  The Jets defense is that good.  It seems like they were built for Madden with a dominant defensive line, a good MLB, and one of the deepest secondaries in Madden history.  You have options with this defense.

Impact Players: QB Geno Smith, WR Brandon Marshall, WR Eric Decker, TE Jace Amaro, LT D’Brickashaw Ferguson, C Nick Mangold, LE Muhammad Wilkerson, LE Leonard Williams, RE Sheldon Richardson, DT Damon Harrison, MLB David Harris, CB Darrelle Revis, CB Antonio Cromartie, CB Dee Milliner, CB Buster Skrine, FS Marcus Gilchrist, SS Calvin Pryor

Key Newcomers: LE Leonard Williams, WR Devin Smith, ROLB Lorenzo Mauldin, HB Stevan Ridley, DT Kevin Vickerson, CB Darrelle Revis

Strengths: Defense.  It seems as if the whole AFC East has a dominant defensive line but the Jets might have the best one.  Once you pair that with one of the best (if not the best) secondaries in the game you quickly realize that the Jets have a top 3 defense in Madden 16.

Weaknesses: Running back.  The Jets just don’t have a running back that you can depend on.  Stevan Ridley might help but there are a lot of better running backs that you would want on your team for Madden purposes.

Overview: The Jets will be a favorite of the most hardcore Madden players due to their dominant defense and big receivers.
