The Cincinnati Bengals come into Madden 16 with a strong defense.  They will be a slightly above average team to use in Madden 16 but don’t expect to see a lot of people using them.

We have the full Bengals team breakdown for Madden 16 below.

Team: Cincinnati Bengals

Offensive Strategy: Get the ball to A.J. Green.  A.J. Green is one of the most effective receivers in Madden NFL 16 due to his size/speed/catch ratings.  Mix in the run and make sure to use some of your other receivers as well once the defense starts keying in on A.J. Green.

Defensive Strategy: 4-3 Balance.  As usual, the Bengals have a very strong defense.  You don’t have to rely on one position to carry you.  You have a strong defensive line, linebackers, and secondary so you have options.

Impact Players: QB Andy Dalton, HB Jeremy Hill, WR A.J. Green, TE Tyler Eifert, LT Andrew Whitworth, LE Carlos Dunlap, RE Michael Johnson, DT Geno Atkins, MLB A.J. Hawk, ROLB Vontaze Burfict, CB Leon Hall, CB Dre Kirkpatrick, FS Reggie Nelson, SS George Iloka

Key Newcomers: MLB A.J. Hawk, RE Michael Johnson, RT Cedric Ogbuehi, RT Jake Fisher, TE Tyler Kroft

Strengths: Defense.  The Bengals have a very strong defense in Madden 16.  The defensive line should make it very difficult for people to run against and it should generate pressure without sending too many blitzes.

Weaknesses: Lack of secondary playmakers on offense.  A.J. Green is the only player on the Bengals offense that will really strike fear into opposing defenses.  Andy Dalton, Jeremy Hill, and Tyler Eifert are all good but not elite Madden players.

Overview: The Bengals in Madden 16 are similar to how the Bengals are every year in Madden.  They have a strong defense which should carry them and an average offense.
