Madden NFL 15 San Francisco 49ers Team Breakdown

The San Francisco 49ers are one of the most elite teams in Madden NFL 15.  They are a team that just about everyone will use online which might be a little annoying for lifelong 49ers fans.

We have the full team breakdown below.

Team: San Francisco 49ers

Offensive Strategy: Traditionally with the 49ers you’d want to run the football.  That isn’t a bad strategy again this year but with a lot of weapons at wide receiver and tight end, you aren’t limited to just the power running game.

Defensive Strategy: Whatever you want.  You truly can play whatever type of defense you want with the 49ers.  Even if you want to switch them to a base 4-3 team, they will be very effective with the right adjustments.

Strengths: Defense.  The 49ers defense has been known throughout the Madden community as one of the most dominant defenses in the game.  Madden 15 will be no different.  The 49ers defense will be unstoppable.

Weaknesses: None.  This team truly has no real weaknesses.  Cornerback might be a little weak compared to some of the other elite teams, but it is far from being a glaring weakness.

Impact Players: QB Colin Kaepernick, HB Frank Gore, WR Michael Crabtree, WR Anquan Boldin, WR Stevie Johnson, TE Vernon Davis, DE Ray McDonald, DE Justin Smith, ROLB Aldon Smith, LOLB Ahmad Brooks, MLB Patrick Willis, MLB Navorro Bowman, CB Chris Culliver, SS Antoine Bethea, FS Eric Reid

Key Newcomers: SS Jimmy Ward, HB Carlos Hyde, S Antoine Bethea, WR Stevie Johnson

Additional Remarks: The San Francisco 49ers will be one of the most popular teams you’ll see online.

  1. Funny you gave them the same rating last year and I would still crush them online with the titans, these rating are don’t mean anything

  2. Defensive rating is obviously off. Anyone who knows football knows how important a secondary is to the whole defense. Having a good front seven doesn’t make a defense as whole. Get a clue Madden-School.

  3. A great front 7 can make a average secondary look good, but a average front 7 can make a good secondary look bad…. pressure means DBs dont have to cover long

  4. A great secondary w no front 7 will get run on til the Safties come up, then burnt w play action, or Zone will get picked apart w/o pressure as the longer u have to cover the more the D gets spread the wider the throwing lanes get…. Get a Clue JAMES!

  5. I’ve seen alot of guys using the unrealistic gimmicks and doing the whole run and stop abruptly tricks . running the QB like crazy and using every trick they can to win using an inferior team to beat a team like SF or Seattle. It’s a video game . not real ! so don’t get so upset with a team that was created . BTW the gimmicks only work on someone who hasn’t seen them yet.
