The Oakland Raiders come into Madden 15 as a dark horse team. True Raiders fans will be delighted with this team but the casual Madden gamer will probably overlook them in favor of some of the more recent powerhouses.
We have the full team breakdown below.
Team: Oakland Raiders
Offensive Strategy: Let Darren McFadden, Maurice Jones-Drew, and Marcel Reece carry the load until Derek Carr progresses. Those 3 running back will be very hard to stop when used correctly.
Defensive Strategy: Force sacks and turnovers. The Raiders have a full arsenal of pass rushers and a secondary that will be very strong in Madden 15. There is speed and playmakers all over the field for this defense.
Strengths: Defense. They Raiders have pass rushers, linebackers, and a very good Madden secondary. Don’t be surprised if you play a user who shuts down your offense with the Oakland Raiders defense.
Weaknesses: Quarterback. Derek Carr should be the better Madden quarterback compared to Matt Schaub. The problem is he can’t have every high ratings coming into Madden 15 since he was a 2nd round draft pick. However, this could easily change in a few roster updates.
Impact Players: HB Maurice Jones-Drew, HB Darren McFadden, WR James Jones, FB Marcel Reece, TE David Ausberry, LE LaMarr Woodley, RE Justin Tuck, ROLB Khalil Mack, LOLB Sio Moore, CB D.J. Hayden, CB Carlos Rodgers, FS Charles Woodson, SS Tyvon Branch
