Madden NFL 15 New England Patriots Team Breakdown

The New England Patriots in Madden 15 are the best they have been since the Randy Moss rocket catching days of Madden 08.  Even though they don’t have too many big time wide receiver options this year, Rob Gronkowski, Stevan Ridley, and Tom Brady along with their stable of productive receivers will be hard to stop.  And we haven’t even began talking about the Patriots defense this year.

Lets dive right in.

Team: New England Patriots

Offensive Strategy: Let Tom Brady pick apart the defense.  With the increased emphasis on quarterback accuracy in Madden NFL 15, quarterbacks like Tom Brady will finally be as effective in Madden as they are in the NFL on Sundays.  Make sure to get the ball to Rob Gronkowski as much as you can.

Defensive Strategy: Big hits and interceptions.  The Patriots linebackers are excellent at forcing fumbles while the secondary should be able to force at least a few interceptions each and every game.

Strengths: Secondary.  The New England Patriots might have the best secondary of any team in Madden 15.  It will be nearly impossible to move the ball downfield against them.

Weaknesses: Team Speed.  The Patriots have really good players at most positions.  Unfortunately, they don’t have much speed at some of the more important Madden positions like quarterback, or running back.  This shouldn’t be a big problem however.

Impact Players: QB Tom Brady, HB Stevan Ridley, WR Danny Amendola, TE Rob Gronkowski, DT Vince Wilfork, ROLB Dont’a Hightower, MLB Jerod Mayo, CB Darrelle Revis, CB Brandon Browner, CB Alfonzo Dennard, FS Devin McCourty

Key Newcomers: DT Dominique Easley, QB Jimmy Garopollo, RB James White, CB Darrelle Revis, CB Brandon Browner, S Patrick Chung

Additional Remarks: The Patriots have a very good Madden 15.  The defense is better than ever and the offense has always been a nightmare to try to stop in Madden games.
