We just released a huge update to our Coverage Beaters section for our Unlimited members. It features 4-5 ways to beat every single coverage in Madden 24 for 1 play touchdowns.
Those can be really helpful when you have a pretty good idea of what coverage your opponent is playing, but there are plenty of other times when you won’t be sure and you’ll need a play that can pick up yards against any coverage.
That’s what today’s Madden 24 money play is all about.
Playbook: Seattle Seahawks
Formation: Gun Tight Y Off Wk
Play: PA Seahawks Corner
Setup:
- Left hash mark is preferred for zone coverage
- Hot route your X/square receiver to a streak
- Hot route your B/circle receiver to a drag
Reads:
- Your first read is always the Y/triangle receiver on the corner route
- If he is covered, then look underneath to the B/circle receiver on the drag
- Then look to the A/X tight end on the post over the middle
Overview: This play has 3 really good reads that can get open against any coverage. Against man to man defenses, you have some more flexibility to run it from either hash mark and to do some different hot routes which the video explains in more detail.
Let’s take a closer look at how this play works.
This is how the final play art should look, especially if you are expecting any sort of zone defense.
We can see that once the ball is snapped, we have 3 receiving options perfectly spaced to get open. We just choose the one we want to throw to.
On this play, we choose to throw to our first read which is the Y/triangle receiver on the corner route. We’ll want to possession catch it to make sure we keep both our feet inbounds.

For a beginner which passing option should we have it on? Classic? I’m having trouble completing passes. Hope you can help.
For a true beginner, you’ll probably want to use classic as it is much easier. Eventually as you get better you’ll want to use free form, we recommend “Placement & Accuracy”
How do I lead a pass to a receiver?
When you press the button to throw to a receiver, also hold the left stick in the direction you wish to lead the receiver to.
