Madden 21 Title Update 1.13 Available Now – Here Are The Full Details

A new update is available when you boot up Madden 21 on PlayStation 4, XBOX One, and PC. Update 1.13 fixes a few minor bugs and tunes some gameplay imbalances.

It is 1.973 GB on the PlayStation 4, and we expect it to be a similiar size on XBOX One as well.

A few of the highlights in this patch are it fixes a few franchise bugs, tuned the bench press ability, and updated how wins and losses are handled when a player loses their game connection.

We’ve got the full details below.

Gameplay Updates:

Fixed an issue causing user-controlled QBs to sometimes automatically throw to a receiver directly following the snap.

DEV NOTE: While we fixed a version of this in a previous update, community feedback made us aware of an additional version. In this case, if a user had spammed a catch-mechanic on the previous play, in some cases that button-input data could carry over to the following play when holding the snap button for a longer period of time. We’re confident this specific bug was the culprit for those still impacted.

Resolved the issue with the ‘Ball-Stuck-In-Hand’ celebration triggering too frequently.

Tuning to the Bench Press Ability so that it will no longer apply fatigue penalties on running plays; also reduced the overall amount of fatigue impact when a receiver gets pressed in man coverage.

DEV NOTE: One thing we want to make our players aware of relative to this ability (as well as many other abilities), is that as ratings increase, the overall impact will naturally decrease. Specific to Bench Press, as players’ stamina ratings increase, so does their fatigue recovery rate. This will lead to the ability becoming less effective over time within modes like Franchise and Ultimate Team.

Addressed an issue causing a thrown pass to rarely warp back to a defender in a Strip Attempt.

Fixed a rare issue causing the ball carrier to freeze during a fake-out vs. a defender.

Fixed the receiver icons not appearing and the pitch sometimes falling short resulting in a fumble on the HB Toss Pass play.

Removed the ‘Pass Rush On-Field Trainer’ overhead display in multiplayer practice to allow for easier multi-controller labbing.

Fixed a blocking interaction issue resulting in a graphical error and made some general stability fixes.

Madden Ultimate Team Updates:

Fixed a rare crash when viewing “Search Trade Results.”

When selecting the highest difficulty on a Solo Challenge, you will be defaulted to that difficulty when selecting “Play Next Challenge.”

Several UI enhancements were made to help with text readability.

Significantly reduced the amount of ties that could result from Simulated games.

The ‘Draft Bar’ interface will remain visible during the Draft when navigating between menus.

Fixed an issue with the ‘Team’ tab disappearing for users when exiting a game.

Presentation Updates:

Multiple Teams Oakley visor tab colors updated to the colors they are using this season.

Better free agents pool. How long did it take to add Clowney or Ansah? There are so many non retired players not in the game right now. But y’all will add Kaepernick who hasn’t played a down of football in 3 years?

I get a bright “negative” like effect at random places during a game. And it won’t go away until after I run a play.

Also, during Face of the Franchise, my player will randomly not exist during a game (ie im the starting QB and the game will start and I’m not there and cannot access a depth chart during HS or college)

Anybody notice that in franchise and gameplay that the stars are always 1 star on the captain patch? The player card shows the correct number but the in game patch is only 1 star

I would like to see more definition in the pads. More to size and fitting. I can’t tell a lineman’s pads to a Quarterbacks pads.

I noticed at one time, the pads looked small because the pad height in the equipment edit was 0. NOW, when it’s at 0, the pads are still kinda wide & tall. My WR & QB look like they’re wearing 1990’s bigger style of pads….

When opening a pack and scrolling through the acquired players iypi go through an animation as you move through those players. If you focus and compare one , when you go back one screen you have to go through the animation sequence again . I think once you open the pack and see the list of players you shouldn’t have to go back through the animation sequence as you compare and contrast players yoi get or need to choose from.

Can you take care of the problem,where defenders wont stay in their zones or won’t cover recievers,tightends,and and running backs,they just take off the quarterback
