In this Madden School video, we are going over the Set Feed Lead and Pass Lead Elite abilities and why you might want to try to get them on your quarterback.
This year, instead of those abilities causing the quarterback to lead pass further away from a receiver, it instead makes the velocity of the throw much faster when you do lead pass.
The video below goes over some of the tests we performed but it is most noticable when you try it out for yourself so we encourage you to take this into practice mode.
We can see that there is a huge increase in velocity when we lead pass with a quarterback who has one of these abilities. The trajectory of the throw is much lower and the ball gets there 15-20% faster than it normally does.
This can very much throw off your timing in some offenses so if you do decide to use Set Feet Lead or Pass Lead Elite on your quarterback, you will want to take that into consideration.
