In today’s free Madden 20 tip, we are going over a play out of the Miami Dolphins offensive playbook. It attacks all parts of the field so if you make your reads correctly, you will get someone open just about every play.

Formation: Gun Split Close Miami
Play: X Drag Trail
Setup:
- Put the X/Square receiver on a streak
- Put the B/O receiver on a drag route
Reads:
- The first read on this play is either running back quick to the flats
- If that is not there look for the B/O receiver coming across on the drag
- Finally, find the A/X tight end deep over the middle on his post
Overview: This play is a great way to beat zone coverage over the middle of the field. The X/Square receiver clears out the defensive backs leaving the A/X tight end wide open on the post. Then we have solid check downs underneath if the post is covered.
