Madden 19 Week 7 TOTW Players Announced

Week 7 of the NFL is in the books and it’s time for another TOTW set to hit the Madden Ultimate Team community. This weeks set of cards should have a lot of players wanting to complete the sets due to the boss card that is given. After obtaining both offensive hero James White and defensive hero Whitney Mercilus, 93 overall Cam Newton is available.

Cam led the Panthers in the second half after being down 17-0. They scored 21 unanswered to finish the game and took down the Eagles in style. The 6’5 quarterback has 83 speed, 94 throw power, 93 throw under pressure, and 90 throw on the run. This could be the answer to a lot of issues people have had at quarterback so far. If you don’t want to grind for the other players in the set, Cam is available for around 675,000 coins on the marketplace. (63 cap) 

91 Category

This weeks offensive hero as stated before is James White. The pass catching back for the Patriots had 11 rushes for 40 yards and caught 8 passes for 57 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Patriots beat the Bears 38-31. He has 89 speed, 92 acceleration, 90 agility, and 89 carrying. (49 cap) 

The defensive hero that was selected this week is the Houston Texans LOLB Whitney Mercilus. With 4 tackles, a sack, and 2 forced fumbles Mercilus came to play and helped take down the Jaguars 20-7. The linebacker has 91 tackle, 88 acceleration, and 88 power moves. (51 cap) 

86 Category 

Philip Rivers had 306 passing yards and 2 touchdowns to help the Chargers beat the Titans in London 20-19. This card has 86 throw power, 90 throw under pressure, and 90 throw accuracy short. (29 cap)

D.J. Swearinger, the Redskins strong safety made a huge play hitting Dak Prescott and causing him to fumble and also recovering the fumble. The SS has 88 hit power, 89 acceleration, and 88 zone coverage. (36 cap) 

85 Category 

Kerryon Johnson, the Detroit Lions HB, had 158 yards against the Dolphins this week, his career high. The 6’0 tailback has 89 speed, 89 acceleration, and 86 carrying. (33 cap) 

Julius Peppers, LE for the Carolina Panthers had a late game sack/fumble on Carson Wentz to seal the game. The 6’7 defensive end has 86 finesse moves, 82 acceleration, and 80 tackle. (30 cap) 

82 Category 

Tyrell Williams, wide receiver of the Los Angeles Chargers had 4 receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown against the Titans. This card has 87 speed, 87 jumping, and 77 catching. (28 cap)

Trae Waynes cornerback of the Minnesota Vikings had an interception and slowed down the Jets offense all day. The speedy corner has 91 speed, 89 acceleration, and 84 jumping. (31 cap)

81 Category 

Marlon Mack went bananas this Sunday. The Colts running back had 159 yards and two touchdowns to beat the Bills 37-5. A healthy Mack could continue to perform in upcoming weeks. 87 speed, 91 acceleration, and 90 agility. (28 cap)
Kyle Van Noy the ROLB for the New England Patriots had a huge special teams play as he recovered and returned a blocked punt for a touchdown. This card has 86 acceleration, 77 tackle, and 79 play recognition. (25 cap)

79 Category 

Benjamin Watson, tight end of the New Orleans Saints had 6 catches, 43 receiving yards, and a touchdown as the Saints went marching in to Baltimore and came out with a 24-23 victory. The TE has 75 speed, 83 catching, and 74 strength. (22 cap) 

Carl Nassib the LE of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had 2 sacks to help them beat the Browns in overtime 26-23. The defensive end has 84 acceleration, 82 block shedding, and 78 power moves. (25 cap) 

78 Category 

Michael Roberts tight end for the Detroit Lions had 2 touchdowns and helped the Lions defeat the Dolphins 32-21. The 6’5 TE has 76 speed, 78 spectacular catch, and 75 run block. (26 cap) 

Jayron Kearse, cornerback of the Minnesota Vikings had his first career sack and 4 tackles helping his team defeat the Jets 37-17. The defensive back has 83 speed, 86 acceleration, and 81 agility. (26 cap)
