Madden 19: Weak Pro – Skinny Posts

A critical part of any Madden 19 offense is to have a couple go-to plays for when your opponent is bringing heavy pressure.

In today’s tip we are going over a 3 man route combination that is very difficult for your opponent to defend, and will pick up any blitz your opponent throws at you.

Playbook: Jacksonville Jaguars

Formation: Weak Pro

Play: Skinny Posts

Setup:

1. Put the A/X Tight end on a streak
2. Put the B/O receiver on a drag
3. Motion the B/O receiver to the left side of the field

Reads:

1. The first read on the play is the B/O receiver on the drag route
2. Then look for the X/Square receiver on the deep post
3. If that is not there look for the A/X tight end up the seam on the streak

Overview: On this play we are showing a way to destroy Cover 2 and Cover 3 zones. The streak in the middle of the field is going to hold the safeties leaving the Post route wide open. Also we have the motioned drag underneath that is always something for a defense to worry about.
