There are 71 players in Madden 18 that have an overall rating of 90 overall or higher. Some solid arguments can be made that favoritism might be occurring within the ratings as none of the 4 teams that made the conference championship games last year (Falcons, Patriots, Packers, Steelers) have more than 4 players with a rating in the 90s. The Patriots have 4 players with 90 and above ratings while the other 3 teams have 3 players each with 90+ ratings.
Compare that to the Cowboys and the Seahawks who have 7 players each rated 90 and higher. If you are a fan of either team, you lucked out. Those 2 teams by themselves have more elite rated players (14) than the 4 best teams combined from last season (13).
Most teams have 1 or 2 guys with a rating over 90 overall in Madden 18 but some teams like the Jets didn’t receive any.
