Madden 18: Gun Ace Slot Offset – China Double In

Today we are going over a nice play to add to your scheme in Madden 18.  If you make your reads correctly, someone will always come open.

Formation: Gun Ace Slot Offset

Play: China Double In

Setup:

1. Smoke screen the X/Square receiver
2. Drag the B/O receiver
3. Motion the B/O receiver to the right side of the screen

Reads:

1. The first read on the play will be the B/O receiver quick on the drag route
2. If that is not there look for the running back quick out of the backfield
3. Then look for the A/X tight going to the right corner
4. The left side of the screen you have the X/Square receiver quick on the screen
5. If that is not there look for the Y/Triangle tight end going to the left corner

Overview: This play is a great way to beat zone coverage. You are attacking both high and low on the left and right sides of the screen. While also having a motioned drag going across the middle that your opponent must worry about. The A/X tight end route is also a very effective route.
