Setup:
- Base align
- Press coverage
- Pinch and Crash your defensive line down
- Pinch your linebackers
Overview: Â One of the reasons I really love this blitz from dollar and the formation in general is that you can set up some very good heat without making it look like you are sending pressure at all.
You do not need to overload one side, and dollar is also an excellent blitzing formation because it mirrors itself (both sides look the exact same). This play allows us to use a quick setup to create fast pressure that can also be duplicated from the other side with the same look.
This is how the defense should look right before the offense snaps the ball.
You can see the pressure come from the linebacker shooting right through the B-gap.
The play results in a quick sack and a loss of about 8 yards.
