A lot of the heat you will see in Madden 17 will be an edge blitz from a cornerback. In order to do that, your opponent will usually use press coverage. In today’s free Madden 17 strategy, we are going over a situational tip that shows you how to destroy zone press coverage.

Formation: Tight Doubles On
Play: Flood Drive
Setup:
- Motion the X/Square receiver out. Snap the ball right when we plants his back leg (see video for timing)
Reads (For Offense Only):
- Against zone press the X/Square gets a speed boost, lob the deep ball and RAC catch
- If your opponent users the deep ball check down to the drag underneath
Overview: This play shows the concept of how to destroy Zone press coverage. The receiver on the motion gets a ridiculous speed burst that allows him to blow past any corner. This play works best with a fast receiver.
