Today we are covering a 4 play mini scheme out of the Gun Bunch Wk formation. This is a very easy scheme to learn so you can get started with a decent offense right at the beginning of Madden 17.

Playbook: Kansas City Chiefs
Formation: Gun Bunch Wk
Play: Verticals
Setup:
- Motion the B/circle receiver out to the right
Reads:
- The main read on this play is the B/circle receiver on the motion
- The second read is the running back across the middle
Overview: This play is great for the mini scheme because it gives a different look to your opponent. It keeps the opponent on their heels, and it is a quick audible in this formation.

Play: PA Post
Setup:
- Put the RB/R1 receiver on a streak
- Put the X/Square receiver on either a slant or drag route
- Block the running back
Reads:
- The main target on this play is the A/X receiver down the field
- The other main target is the RB/R1 receiver depending on what zone the opponent is in
- The other read on this play is the two drags underneath for a short gain
Overview: This play can essentially do it all. It can create a big play down the field. The two drags underneath can also result in a good gain, in case your opponent is sending pressure. If you have time you can beat the defense down the field.

Setup: None required
Overview: Every scheme needs a good run play in order to keep the other plays efficient. Having this run keeps your opponent from completely selling out for a pass play. Read the holes and either cut it up the middle or bounce it to the outside.

Play: Bunch Curl
Setup:
- Put the B/circle receiver on a drag route
Reads:
- The quick pass is the RB receiver for a short gain
- The second read is the A/X receiver
- The third read is the drag route underneath
Overview: This play in the mini scheme destroys man coverage. There is a quick pass which can be a good way to pick up short yards for a first down. Then the drag, and the A/X receiver gets a speed burst across the middle of the field. These two routes can result in a big gain.
