In today’s free Madden 17 tip, we are going over a nice money play you can incorporate into your Gun Bunch Wk scheme to get more first downs.

Playbook: Cincinnati Bengals

Formation: Gun Bunch WK

Play: Bengal Curl Flat

Setup:

1. Put the B/O receiver on a streak
2. Put the X/Square receiver on an in route and smart route him
3. Put the running back on an out to the left

Reads:

1. The main read is the A/X receiver deep to the corner of the field
2. If this is not there look towards the RB/R1 flat route
3. If you are being pressured just dump it to the running back

Overview: This is a deep threat pass with a high completion rate. It is used against a Cover 3 Sky or any Cover 3. However, a Cover 3 sky is supposed to cover deep corner routes.

The streak pattern helps get the A/X receiver wide open to the corner. Do not get to greedy on this play.  Use the check downs when they are needed.
