This play is an easy way to pick up about 10 yards. Offense is incredibly difficult this year so having a few of these plays to go to when you need a first down is important.

Play: PA Read
Setup:
- Hot route your tight end to a streak route
- Hot route your running back to a swing to the right
Reads:
- Your primary read on this play is always going to be your slot receiver (Y/triangle) on his crossing route over the middle
- If he is covered, look to your X/square receiver a little deeper
Overview: Your slot receiver should be open most of the time against both man and zone coverages. Don’t run this play too often because a smart opponent will eventually user defend our slot receiver.
