There are a lot of plays in this ebook so it can be tough to figure out which ones work best. We always recommend to try all of them and see what works best for you because there is no one size fits all solution. With that in mind here are some of our favorite plays in this ebook.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Singleback Bunch Ace
Play: Quick Pitch
Setup:
- Sub in a fast halfback
- Motion your TE slightly to the right and then snap the ball
Overview: Just follow your blockers for a big gain.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Singleback Bunch Ace
Play: Stick
Setup:
- Put your A/X receiver on a streak route
Reads:
- Your first read is your X/square receiver over the middle on the slant route
- Your other read is the B/circle receiver on the corner route
- If both are covered, RB/R1 should be open in the flat
Overview: This play works really well against both man and zone coverage.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Singleback Bunch Ace
Play: PA Fork Shot
Setup:
- (Optional) Choose Dual TE Swap package
- Hot route the B/Circle receiver to a streak route
Reads:
- Either the B/circle receiver on the streak should be open
- Or your A/X receiver on the corner route will be open
Overview: This play destroys cover 3 defenses but isn’t effective against man to man defenses.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Singleback Ace Close
Play: Tight Slots TE Angle
Setup:
- Hot route your Y/triangle tight end to a slant route
- Hot route your X/square receiver to a streak route
Reads:
- Your first read is always your B/circle receiver on the drag. He should be open against both man and zone defense
- The next read is either tight end over the middle.
Overview: This play absolutely destroys any man to man defense but also works really well against zones too.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Singleback Pair Tight Twins
Play: PA Power O
Setup:
- Put your RB/R1 tight end on a slant route
- Put your X/square receiver on a streak route
Reads:
- Your primary read on this play is your B/circle receiver
- If he is covered, look to either tight end
Overview: This play destroys man to man coverage.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Singleback Pair Tight Twins
Play: HB Dive
Setup:
- Motion your far right tight end to the left and snap it when he gets between the RT and the RG
Overview: Just follow your blocks. This is a really effective running play. Mix it in with passes out of this formation.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Weak Close
Play: PA Post Shot
Setup:
- Put the B/circle receiver on a streak route
- Slide protect right
- (Optional) Put your tight end on an out route
Reads:
- Your X/square receiver should be open just about every time.
Overview: This play works really well against both man and zone defense.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: I-Form Pro
Play: FB Dive Strong
Setup: None Required
Overview: FB Dive is back this year. You can usually get an easy 5-10 yards with it as long as your opponent isn’t bringing a big blitz up the middle. You may want to substitute in your 2nd string running back at fullback or use the Dual HB Package. Run this play until your opponent stops you. This should be one of the most common plays you call.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: I-Form Pro Twins
Play: HB Toss
Setup:
- (Optional) Use the right joystick to flip the run to the other side if you want
Overview: This play is incredibly hard to stop. Just run to the side where the numbers are best.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Gun DBLS Y-Flex Offset
Play: Angle Smash
Setup:
- Hot route the X/square receiver to a drag route
Reads:
- If your opponent is in man coverage, look to the Y/triangle receiver on the corner route first and then to the running back on the angle route
- If your opponent is in zone defense, throw to your X/square receiver on the drag or your running back on the angle route
Overview: To tell if your opponent is in man or zone right after the snap, just look at the far left cornerback. If he takes a few steps into the middle of the field, your opponent is in man to man defense. If he steps back or to the sideline, he is in zone defense.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Gun Trey Y-Flex
Play: Levels Sail
Setup:
- Hot route your running back to a streak route and motion him to the right
Reads:
- Look to pass it to your A/X tight end against man to man defense
- If A/X is covered, look to either your B/circle receiver or your X/square receiver
Overview: This play works against both man and zone coverages. Just make your reads correctly.
Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Gun Tight Flex
Play: Inside Hi Lo
Setup:
- Hot route your A/X tight end on a flat route
- Hot route your running back to a streak route
Reads:
- Against man to man defense, your B/circle receiver will usually be wide open
- Against zone defense either your running back or your B/circle receiver will be open.
Overview: This is one of my favorite plays in this playbook. It beats both man and zone and it isn’t very complicated.
In the Single Back Bunch-Quick Pitch, what is the fastest way to select the TE to be able to motion him?
Hold the B button and then use the right stick directionally to point towards where your tight end is
On the Xbox One, how do you flip the play once you are already at the line?
square + L2 i believe
What settings are you guys using when running these plays?
They are shown against all pro but most do work against all madden as well.
Can’t find single back pair tight twins when trying to add it to my custom playbook… Any ideas?
So I get a more basic idea of this, what routes beat man and what routes beat zone?
It really just depends. In general, slant routes work well against man defense, drag routes work well against both, corner routes work well against both.
Will you be doing anything out of the Ny Giants off playbook soon ?
Honestly I have no idea. Sorry.
Also having trouble finding some of the formations in custom, Gun DBLs Y-Flex Offset, I Form Pro Twins, Single back pair Tight Twins. Any help would be great
The best way to do it is to choose the Tennessee playbook as your default custom playbook and then add in other plays.
But if I use the Titans play book then the formations in the Pats mini guide are not there, is there a way that I can create a custom play book that has all the plays u cover in it?
Any saints offensive ebooks in the making?
No plans on it currently
When then next ebook coming out on offense
We’re shooting for early October.

There is no way. You just have to wait it out.
IT WAS LAST YEAR RIGHT?
