The last 10 or so yards are by far the hardest to get in Madden 20. The defense has a shorter part of the field to defend and most of the time you are left just trying to run the ball and hope for the best.
You can still run HB Dive or HB Stretch and hope that in 3 or 4 tries you are able to pound it into the end zone but we wanted to go over a way to pass the ball as well.
The vast majority of players will call a zone defense as you get closer to the end zone in Madden 20. Likely either a cover 2, cover 3, or cover 4.
In the video below we go over a passing play with incredibly easy reads that will beat every zone defense in the game.
The best part is that it uses quick/short passes so you don’t have to worry about getting sacked.
Playbook: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (and many others)
Formation: Gun Empty Trey Stack
Play: Fade Out
Setup:
- Put the B/circle receiver on a drag route
Reads:
- Your first read is the X/square receiver on a quick pass
- If he is covered, look to the B/circle receiver underneath
- Then look to the A/X tight end
Overview: This play is deadly once you get near the goal line especially against cover 3 and cover 4 defenses. It also works well against any other zone defense.
Just snap the ball and throw to the X/square receiver for an easy touchdown.
It can help to make sure your best pass catching wide receiver is lined up at the X/square receiver position.
Works like a charm
Great, glad it helped you!
NICE WORK..!!
Is it on saints playbook?
Unfortunately this play is not in the Saints offensive playbook
Good video
