It is always nice to have a scheme that is easy to use and extremely effective so I wanted to post a free Madden 15 mini-scheme out of the Gun Doubles Flex Wing formation to help out the community.
The first play is called HB Dive and is a pretty boring running play when you look at it on the playcall screen, but when you run it in a game you will see just how dominant it is. Then we get into 3 passing plays from that same formation with the basic idea to get your opponent’s defense out of their usual plays.
Playbook: New York Giants
Formation: Gun Doubles Flex Wing
Play: HB Dive
Setup:
- None required
Overview: This play is one of the best runs in the game. Even though it is a straight forward dive, don’t let it fool you, it is just about impossible to stop.
Playbook: New York Giants
Formation: Gun Doubles Flex Wing
Play: Drive
Setup:
- Put your tight end on an option route
- Block your running back
Reads:
- You are looking to your receiver on the drag route just about every time for 4-10 yards
Overview: This play by itself isn’t all that impressive, but when mixed in with the other plays in this formation, it is very hard to stop.
Playbook: New York Giants
Formation: Gun Doubles Flex Wing
Play: Slot Cross
Setup:
- Put your tight end and running back on whatever routes you like
Reads:
- Against man to man defense, we are looking for our slot receiver (Y/triangle) over the middle
Overview: This play also works decently against zones, but we want to call it against someone who likes to stay in the same man to man defense the whole game.
Playbook: New York Giants
Formation: Gun Doubles Flex Wing
Play: PA China Go
Setup:
- None required
Reads:
- Against any sort of man to man defense, we are looking to our X/Square receiver on the delayed slant route
Overview: This is another awesome way to beat man to man coverage in Madden 15 and make your opponent switch to a defense he isn’t comfortable in.
One of the key concepts from this Madden 15 offensive mini scheme is getting your opponent out of 2 Man Under or Cover 2 Man defense as well as making him commit to the run.

Seems like a great scheme, but can’t find that formation. Is this a noob mistake on my part?
It is in the New York Giants playbook. Just choose that playbook and you’ll see it
The dive play is awesome. As soon as they committed to run, I start running the crossing patterns.
Glad it is working well for you
Its also in Greenbay’s book and I think Maimi’s
Yes I think those 3 are the only playbooks it is found in
double is called normal for custom pbs
