Play: X Spot
Setup:
- Hot route the X/square receiver to a streak route
- (Optional) Hot route your tight end to whatever you want
Reads:
- The B/circle receiver gets open on his corner route against 99% of defenses as long as your opponent doesn’t user defend it
- If he is covered, look to your running back in the flat
Overview: The tight ends job is to hold the user in the middle of the field so that you can hit your B/circle receiver on the corner route

Setup:
- Max Protect
- Hot route your Y/triangle running back to a swing route to the left and motion him out to the left
- Hot route your B/circle receiver to a slant route
Reads:
- The main read on this play is the X/square receiver on the cut to the sideline.
- If he is covered, look to the slant route or throw it away
Overview: The timing is very important on this play, you don’t want to throw it late to the X/square receiver.

Play: Curl Drag
Setup:
- Block your RB/R1 running back
- Hot route your Y/triangle running back to a wheel route and motion him to the left
- Hot route your B/circle receiver to a streak route
Reads:
- Against cover 2 defense, just wait for your running back to get open deep
- Against any other defense, you will usually throw to your X/square receiver on the curl.
- If your opponent user defends him, the tight end should be open for a short gain
Overview: This is a nice wrinkle that has easy reads for every coverage.

Overview: Just follow your blocks and read the holes. Sometimes you need to give your primary running back a rest to make sure he doesn’t get too tired and fumble.
