In this free Madden 18 tip, we are going over a play that absolutely destroys cover 3 and cover 2 defenses! It is extremely easy to set up and the reads are very basic.

Playbook: Seattle Seahawks
Formation: Gun Empty Bunch
Play: Y Curl
Setup:
- Hot route your running back to a streak route
- (Optional) Slide protect right
Reads:
- Against cover 3 defense, look to your running back deep (lead pass to the sideline).
- Against cover 2 defense, your X/square receiver should be open (lead pass to the middle of the field.

This is how the play art should look right before we snap the ball. Notice the running back on the streak route.
As the running back gets about even with the cornerback, throw the ball and lead pass to the sideline.
We catch the ball and walk into the endzone for a touchdown.
