Play: Cover 2 Man LB Blitz

Setup:

1. Press Coverage
2. Pinch the defensive line
3. Slant inside the defensive line
4. Put the blitzing linebacker in any zone
5. QB Contain
6. User the safety and put him on a blitz in between the DE and DT as shown in the video

Overview: This blitzing concept we are using in this video is absolutely insane. As you see we are getting quick pressure to the QB while only blitzing 3 people on the defensive line. User the safety and drop into coverage to take away any quick passes from your opponent.

Setup:

2. Pinch the defensive line
3. Slant inside the defensive line

5. User the safety and put him on a blitz in between the DE and DT as shown in the video

Overview: In this video we use our blitz concept out of a Cover 4 zone. This defense is normally known as a max coverage defense. However, we have found a way to get pressure by only blitzing 3 people.

Overview: Here we have a Cover 3 base for our defense while still being able to get really good pressure only blitzing 3 people. Shown in the video are some key ways to adjust your coverage since we will be usering the middle third safety many times.

Setup:

1. Press Coverage
2. QB Contain
3. Move the slot cornerback in next to the defensive end until he is on a contain

Overview: On this play we are mixing our defense up and giving our opponent a different look. We are blitzing more people in this play but getting good outside pressure. The setup is also very quick making it easy to adjust our coverage as well.

Play:  DB Fire 2 (Coverage Defense)

Setup:

1. Press Coverage
2. Move the slot cornerback in again to create the illusion you are blitzing
3. Then put both slot cornerbacks in any zone or man them up

Overview: This is a max coverage defense that is very useful especially after we have been blitzing so much. An adjustment that’s shown in the video is manning up the slot cornerback to the running back and then the other slot cornerback to the slot receiver.

Setup:

2. Adjust the coverage how you see fitting

Overview: This is a defense that has been popular in online play so far. Mainly with the use of two curl flat zones, either putting one of the linebackers in a curl flat and the strong safety in a curl flat or, putting both linebackers in curl flats as shown.
