One of the biggest historic coin drains in Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) will not be making it’s way into Madden 19.  Contracts had always been slightly annoying since they didn’t actually do anything for your team and would basically just take your coins before you could hop into a game.

The news was universally well received by the community and signals a small step forward for Ultimate Team in Madden 19.

EA Sports also released more information in regards to MUT.  Some of the highlights include:

  • Power up/down players
  • You can pick your own chemistries for cards
  • Solo Battle Weekend League
  • Squad Battle

New depth chart positions were also added to Madden 19 and those will apply to Ultimate Team as well as other game modes like Franchise and Play Now.

Next week will be huge for Madden NFL 19 when Gameplay features and enhancements are officially announced.  What else do you want to see in Madden 19?  Let us know in the comments.
