Formation: 4-3 Over
Play: Fire Zone 2
Setup:
- Base Align
- Pinch your defensive line and crash them down
- Spread your linebackers
- Blitz the MLB (on the left of screen)
- Zone the 2 lineman on the right side of the screen
Overview: User the OLB on the right side of the field and when the ball is snapped, take away the left part of the field. By that time, you should have a sack.

- Spread your linebackers
- Blitz the MLB (on the left of screen)

Overview: This is basically the same blitz as the Fire Zone 2 play. You are pretty weak on the left side of the field so make sure to adjust the coverage behind as you see fit.

- Show Blitz
- Crash the defensive line down
- Blitz the OLB on the right
- Bluff blitz DT on left
- Zone the DE on the left
Overview: This brings 4 man pressure from the right side of the screen so mix this play in when your opponent starts blocking guys on the left or slide protecting that way.

Overview: This does a great job of slowing down most running plays in Madden 18.
Is this madden 18 or 17? And I just purchased are u guys covering identifying the mike counters for these blitzes? I understand mixing up ur defense but do u guys have plays that attacks qb regardless of identifying the mike?
This is Madden 18. At this point in the year, no we don’t have blitzes that work even if your opponent knows exactly what is coming. It really shouldn’t work that way anyway because at that point, it is basically a cheat.
How do we hard flat the LBs? Is that a global LB adjustment we can do this year?

Where I can I find the buttons for all of the stuff you’re saying to do on the PS4?
Which ones are you struggling with? Pinching and crashing the defensive line all starts with L1. Base align and press coverage start with triangle.
Honestly I’d gain the most right now by understanding how to complete pre-play adjustments. Even the skills training doesn’t give a full explanation of adjustments

I have a comment about how to stop the 5 man vertical. Once I put a man in the flat for the running back and or WR, I always user the MLB and stop the te but in a recent game, the TE has been getting open between the safety and MLB just out of my range. How do I stop that, please help.
Any recommendations on stopping the run using 4-3 D#. Since the recent update, all madden – Sim- franchise mode, the run has been difficult to stop bc blocks are held longer.

I’d start with the New England or NYJ offensive ebooks, and the Baltimore defensive mini ebook.
