3 Offensive Rookie Playmakers To Watch In Madden NFL 15

Offensive playmakers are one of the most important things you can have in any Madden NFL game.  This year, there are 3 incoming rookies that stand out who will automatically make whichever team they land on significantly better in Madden 15.  There will be plenty of unexpected surprises as the 2014 NFL season gets underway but these 3 will make a huge impact from the day Madden 15 is released.

  1. QB Johnny Manziel – Most people either love him or hate him, but he will come into Madden 15 with good speed, acceleration and agility.  He’ll likely also have some of the best elusiveness, ball carrier vision, and other traditional running back stats for any quarterback in the game.  You can expect good but not great throwing attributes.  When it comes down to it, Manziel could be a huge bust or one of the most electrifying players in the NFL but that all matters very little to his in game effectiveness.  He’s going to be a nightmare in Madden 15.
  2. WR Sammy Watkins – He is going to have all of the attributes Madden gamers look for in a wide receiver except he is just average height for an NFL receiver at 6’1″.  He will have great playmaking ability with attributes like speed and elusiveness as well as good catch ratings.  He’ll lack high awareness ratings but as experienced gamers know that makes very little difference in terms of actual on field performance.
  3. WR Mike Evans – This guy is a dream for the traditional pro Madden gamer who craves height and strength in their receivers.  He won’t have the initial big play capability that someone like Sammy Watkins will enter Madden 15 with, but he will be an absolutely nightmare to match up with on the outside.  Unless your opponent is playing with a guy like Richard Sherman of the Seahawks, it will be incredibly hard to stop a 6’5″ 225 pound wide receiver with good strength and excellent catch, catch in traffic, and spectacular catch ratings.

These 3 rookies will make an immediate impact on Madden 15 but there are always guys that we don’t expect who turn out to be Madden beasts.  Which rookie do you think will make the biggest impact on Madden 15?  If you had to choose one offensive rookie to add to your favorite team (strictly in terms of Madden) , who would it be and why?  Let us know in the comments section below.

Don’t sleep on that tight end from North Carolina Ebron. That guy is gonna be a Madden stud

Steady Teddy Bridgewater is gonna come in with pretty much the same ratings or better as Geno Smith did last year. He should be less elusive than Johnny Football but have better throwing accuracy.

I bet there are going to be 1 or 2 rookie running backs who will make a big impact by the end of the season and have an overall rating of 80 or above. The problem is, I have no idea who it will be.

Let’s get some real Offensive Rookie sleepers in here…

How about De’Anthony Thomas? He will be a small, but electrifying player in madden if you put him in the right situation..Ala on Jet Sweeps, Slot, and the Occasional Option Run as an RB…

As for my Rookie Impact Tight End? I’d go with a go like Austin Sefarian-Jenkins…Will be have elite speed? Probably not, but being 6’6″ and that leaping ability? I’d take that size mismatch any day especially on Sunday.

As for WR why not Brandin Cooks? He may not have the height most like in madden, but that has never stopped Desean Jackson from being an impact player in Madden.

What about the defensive guys?

Obviously Clowney is the easy choice as far as beast on the defense, with his size, strength and his speed he will be able to dominate opposing offensive linemen…Well that’s if Madden allows for it this season…

Another guy who could be good that nobody is talking about on the defensive side would be Justin Gilbert the corner from Oklahoma State..He’s 6 foot and ran a 4.38 forty….Which tall corners with good speed in Madden are like gold, and I think Gilbert will only get better as the season goes on.
