  1. most of these don’t work. maybe once out of 10.

    1. That’s why you should be going up against the CPU. His gameplay demos were against the CPU and not a human, right?

  2. I try and stay away from the show blitz plays, maybe against the CPU

  3. What are best run stopper defense in here

    1. Just about everything stops the run this year. There isn’t much of a need for dedicated run stoppers.

  4. Hey first of all THANKS for all the content!! I have a great recommendation. ON the play description it would be nice if you put if it was a “BLITZ” or a “COVERAGE” or “HYBRID” play.. Let me know what you think. Again you guys are awesome!!!

    1. Great suggestion man! We’ll definitely consider it

  5. Ian, I see that you run 34 odd mostly. How often are you running the blitz vs coverage in a game? Also, who would you recommend on the defensive line in 34 odd salary cap?

    1. Did we play each other? You should have sent over a message saying something! I run 3-4 Odd mostly in salary cap. The way I run it varies but I am either rushing 5-6 with the Edge Blitz 3 play or dropping 9 into coverage. The way I run my salary cap Dline is I have the 2 best pass rushers I can afford at the DE positions and then a cheap, fast, DE at defensive tackle that I put into a Spy. And then I user a blitzing lb (so I meet the rush 3 threshold so my line doesn’t get pancaked on runs).

      1. Lol, no I haven’t played you, I saw that you mentioned 34 as your preferred defense in another post. I do like the setup you explained and will try that setup

  6. For the blitz who do you recommend at LE because I have Bruce at RE

    1. It shouldn’t matter too much who is at LE or RE

  7. Are these designed more for cpu or user? They’ve worked great in practice mode but in game on all madden they have rarely brought immediate pressure for me so far

    1. They are designed for users. When you are playing at decently high levels, a lot of guys will start blocking an extra guy which will stop some of the blitzes from coming in. That is when you need to send dual edge heat or drop into coverage

  8. hey guys i like the 3-4 and the nickel, which one do you guys like best?

    1. Definitely 3-4 Odd and Nickel

  9. Hey boys sometime I get smoked over the top when I base align and show blitz, any tips to stop that? Even if I play over top still get burnt. The plays it manly happens on is cov 2 cov 3

    1. Hi, yes that is one of the big negatives of base align and showing blitz. It can get your cornerbacks out of position and somehwat pressed. What I do is manually move the outside cornerbacks backwards a few yards if I have enough time.
