Formation: Gun Spread Y-Flex
Play: Jet Touch Pass
Setup:
- Just make sure you fastest wide receiver is in the Y/triangle spot
- It can help to be on the left hash mark
Overview: You will have a huge numbers advantage to the right side of the field with this play. You don’t want to try to run it over and over again against good user defenders but you can run it once or twice to catch your opponent by surprise.

This is how the defense will look when they are in the Nickel 3-3 LB Blitz 0 play. You can start to see already how the defense will be way out of position to defend a jet sweep play.
You can see how as our receiver goes in motion, the slot cornerback lined up on him originally doesn’t follow him until it is way too late and we have the perfect blocking scheme set up.
You can see once we get around the corner, all we have to worry about is our receivers holding their blocks downfield.
On this play, both receivers do a great job of blocking their guys.
We have nothing but open field ahead of us and we’ll get an easy touchdown.
