Play: PA Ctr Waggle

Setup:

  1. Make sure you are on the left hash mark
  2. Hot route the A/X tight end to a streak route

Reads:

  1. Your primary read on this play is the B/circle tight end deep. He should be wide open against any sort of cover 2 or cover 3 zone
  2. If he is covered, look to the Y/triangle tight end

Overview: You may want to put your best TE at the B/circle spot since he will be the guy we are targeting on this play.

Play: Stick Nod Vertical

Setup:

  1. Make sure you are on the left hash mark
  2. Block your running back

Reads:

  1. Your primary read on this play is the B/circle receiver tight end against cover 2 or cover 3 defenses
  2. If he is covered, hit the X/square receiver on the drag route

Overview:

Setup: None required

Reads:

  1. If your opponent likes to play cover 1 or cover 0 defense, you can hit the X/square receiver deep.
  2. If not, just look to the high/low read on the right side

Overview: If you use this formation correctly and really run the ball a bunch, your opponent may start calling a man to man blitz to slow it down. Make sure you have your fastest WR subbed in.

Setup: None required

Overview: Just follow your blockers. You want to make sure to really commit to the run when using this formation so that when you do decide to hit your opponent with a pass, your receivers will be wide open.

Setup:

  1. Make sure you are on the left hash mark
  2. Hot route the B/circle tight end to a flat route
  3. Hot route the A/X tight end to a streak route
  4. Hot route the Y/triangle receiver to a curl route

Reads:

  1. Your main read on this play is your running back coming out of the backfield against any zone defense
  2. If he is covered, look to the X/square receiver over the middle or the Y/triangle tight end on the drag

Overview: Most people do not focus on the running back on passing plays. By mixing this play in, you will force them to keep an eye on your RB which will open up the other passing plays.
