Madden NFL 17 Tennessee Titans Team Breakdown

The Tennesee Titans head into Madden 17 with a much improved team from last year.  They still aren’t a top tier Madden team, but they have some good pieces this year.

Team: Tennessee Titans

Offensive Strategy: Run, Run, Play-Action Pass.  Rely on your running game until your opponent starts committing to the run.  Then you will want to hit them with a play action pass and either go deep to one of your big/fast receivers or hit Delanie Walker underneath.

Defensive Strategy: Get after the quarterback.  Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo are very skilled pass rushers.  You’ll need to put pressure on oppossing teams’ quarterbacks to mask the weakness at cornerback.

Impact Players: QB Marcus Mariota, HB DeMarco Murray, WR Dorial Green-Beckham, WR Justin Hunter, TE Delanie Walker, RE Jurrell Casey, LOLB Derrick Morgan, MLB Wesley Woodyard, MLB Avery Williamson, ROLB Brian Orakpo, FS Jason McCourty, SS Daa’Norris Searcy

Strengths: The running game.  Marcus Mariota is one of the best running quarterbacks in Madden 17, and then the Titans have 3 extremely skilled running backs in DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry, and Bishop Sankey.

Weaknesses: Cornerback.  The Titans don’t have anyone at corner that can match up with some of the most dynamic receivers in Madden 17.

Overview: The Titans are a popular sleeper team.  Marcus Mariota is one of the hardest quarterbacks to stop in Madden, the defense is strong, and you have some nice weapons on offense.
