In today’s free Madden 26 tip, we are going over a secret way to create really unique route combinations on any passing play that has auto-motion in it.
You can do really cool things like put a running back on a slant or a tight end wheel route, or you can put a receiver on a Texas or running back wheel route.

It is important to note that this only works in games. If you are trying it in practice mode you won’t be able to replicate this since in practice mode your team doesn’t break the huddle and walk to the line of scrimmage.
Here’s how to do it:
- Call any passing play that has auto motion in it
- Immediately after you break the huddle hot route the player that was supposed to be in auto-motion
To do this correctly, you need to have the hot routes pretty well memorized because you won’t have time to look at the hot route menu. By the time you look through the hot route options it is too late.
So you’ll want to take this into a meaningless offline head to head game with your favorite plays to practice getting the hot routes down as quickly as possible.
