Overview: Only run this play from the right hash mark. This play only works against stock cover 3 defenses. If your opponent shades over the top or uses the protect the sticks feature, the Y/triangle receiver will not get open.

3. Block your running back
4. (Optional) Double team the outside most pass rusher on the left side of the screen

3. Hot route the B/circle receiver to a slant route and motion him to the left. Snap it right before he gets set (See the video for timing)

1. The primary read on the play is the RB/R1 receiver deep against cover 3. Lead pass up the field.

Overview: Run this play from the left hash mark when you are expecting cover 3. It works against default cover 3 or if your opponent shades underneath or over the top but it will not work against zone drops or protect the sticks.

2. Do whatever you’d like with your RB and TE
3. Put the RB/R1 receiver on a streak route

1. The main read on this play is the B/circle receiver deep against cover 3 defenses

Overview: Run this play from the left hash mark when you are expecting cover 3. It works against any sort of cover 3 with or without zone drops or protect the sticks.

Setup:

1. Hot route the B/circle receiver to a streak and motion him to the left

Reads:

1. Your main read on this play is the B/circle receiver on the streak route. Lead pass to the sideline.

Overview: Run this play from the left hash mark. This play only works against stock cover 3 defenses even if your opponent shades underneath or over the top but it will not work against zone drops or protect the sticks.

Play: PA Deep Outs (Cover 3 Beater)

Setup:

1. Hot route the A/X tight end to a streak route and motion him to the left
2. (Optional) Hot route the X/square receiver to a drag route
3. (Optional) Block the running back to cancel the play action

Reads:

1. Your main read on this play is the Y/triangle receiver deep. Lead pass to the sideline

Overview: Run this play from the right hash mark. This play will beat just about any cover 3 defense deep regardless of adjustments.

Playbook: Carolina Panthers

Formation: Gun Trips

Play: Sail

Setup:

1. Put the A/X receiver on a slant route
2. Or put the running back on a streak route and motion him to the left

Reads:

1. If you put the A/X receiver on the slant route, when he gets to the left side of the screen use the playmaker feature to playmaker him directly up the field (Right Stick + Up)
2. If you aren’t comfortable with using playmaker, just put the running back on the streak route and motion him to the left and lead pass to the sideline.

Overview: This play won’t work against cover 3 defenses with protect the sticks or zone drops but other than that, it will beat any cover 3 defense.
