Playbook: Tennessee Titans
Formation: Gun DBLS Y-Flex Offset
Play: Angle Smash
Setup:
- Hot route the X/square receiver to a drag route
Reads:
- If your opponent is in man coverage, look to the Y/triangle receiver on the corner route first and then to the running back on the angle route
- If your opponent is in zone defense, throw to your X/square receiver on the drag or your running back on the angle route
Overview: To tell if your opponent is in man or zone right after the snap, just look at the far left cornerback. If he takes a few steps into the middle of the field, your opponent is in man to man defense. If he steps back or to the sideline, he is in zone defense.

Do I have to use the Titans PB or just the play?
The plays will work in any playbook they are found in.
how do you beat man press. The press stops all of your “man beaters” like the corner routes. They just get picked off or punched out.
Slant routes do a great job of beating man press.
