The Scum Kick is one of the most annoying tactics to play against in Madden 25. In today’s tip we are going over how to do it as well as the counter so that no one can do it to you.

To do the “scum kick” in Madden 25 you want to aim the arrow all the way down and fill the kicking meter about half way.
This varies slightly based on your kickers’ kick power as well as the wind conditions on the field so take it into practice mode before you try to use it.
To stop it from happening to you, simply move your returners up 5-10 yards before the ball is kicked. That way the ball won’t land in front of you and they still won’t be able to kick it over your head.
