Cover 2 and Cover 4 are 2 of the most common coverages in any Madden game and we expect it to be the same in Madden 21.

Playbook: Los Angeles Chargers (and many others)

Formation: Gun Trips TE

Play: Inside Cross

Setup:

1. Put the A/X tight end on an in route.
2. Put the Y/Triangle receiver on a streak.
3. Block the running back.
4. Motion snap the B/Circle receiver for extra protection.

Reads:

1. Your only real on this play is the X/square receiver deep. If he isn’t there then just scramble or throw the ball away.

Overview: This play is an easy one play touchdown against cover 2 and cover 4. It is basically a one read play with the X/Square receiver being the main read.

It is important that you have a mobile quarterback, ideally one with escape artist so you can buy enough time for this play to work.
