Playbook: Atlanta Falcons
Formation: Gun Tight Flex
Play: HB Option
Setup:
- Make sure you are on the right hash mark
- Hot route your X/square receiver to a corner and custom stem it down all the way
- Hot route your tight end to a streak
- Put your running back and your B/circle receiver on any routes you’d like
Reads:
- Against Cover 3 defenses, look to the Y/triangle receiver deep. Lead pass up and to the sideline
- Against Cover 2 defenses, look to the X/square receiver on the corner route
Overview: This is one of the simplest Cover 3 beating concepts in the game. If you see your opponent in a single high safety look, and think they are in a Cover 3, this is a great play to audible into.
