Important Physical Tiers For DTs

DT Speed Tiers

  • Elite = 78-99
  • Great = 74-77
  • Good = 70-73
  • Solid = 66-69
  • Decent = 62-65
  • Marginal = 58-61
  • Poor = 57 and below

DT Acceleration Tiers

  • Elite = 85-99
  • Great = 82-84
  • Good = 80-81
  • Solid = 78-79
  • Decent = 76-77
  • Marginal = 74-75
  • Poor = 73 and below

DT Agility Tiers

  • Elite = 78-99
  • Great = 73-77
  • Good = 68-72
  • Solid = 63-67
  • Decent = 58-62
  • Marginal = 53-57
  • Poor = 52 and below

DT Strength Tiers

  • Elite = 94-99
  • Great = 90-93
  • Good = 87-89
  • Solid = 84-86
  • Decent = 81-83
  • Marginal = 78-80
  • Poor = 77 and below

Jumping and change of direction are relatively useless for defensive tackles so we did not include them.

DT Draft Notes

The player note information given for defensive tackles is largely useless. The only trait that you can learn about is how likely a player is to be penalized.

  • Known to attract flags = Penalty – Undisciplined
  • Typically avoids getting flagged = Penalty – Normal
  • Almost never penalized = Penalty – Disciplined
