Atlanta Falcons- Season Schedule Thoughts
Week #1, ATL@PIT- I believe this is a win for us, not saying an easy win but neverless a win. With the Steelers not having Big Ben at QB for this game tremendously helps ATL’s Defense alot. With ATL’s stacked talent on O, we will put up points, while Steelers’ lack of offense will cause them to lose this one to the score of 24-20
Week #2, ARI@ATL- First of all, I think ATL will go 6-2 at home this year making the Georgia Dome even scarier to play at. This game will be similar to the Steelers game. as I think Cardinals offense won’t produce enough points to win this game. ATL wins this game 17-35.
Week #3, ATL@NO- Playing at the Saints stadium is no fun for any team, and with the Saints just coming off a Superbowl winning year they will win this game 21-31.
Week #4, SF@ATL- First of all, ATL played pretty well vs the 49ers last year, but I expect the 49ers to come back with a hard fought game. ATL being at home helps them to win this game in OT by 3. Final score 17-20
Week #5, ATL@CLE- Not much to say with this one. ATL just beats CLE off the fact they have much more talent than the Browns. Final score 42-17
Week #6, ATL@PHI- I’m finally glad to say this for the first time in years, but ATL comes out with a win vs the Eagles simply because I believe the loss of McNabb hurts the Eagles too much to have a good season as well as the Eagles’ running game slacking from what it used to be. Final score 27-21
Week #7, CIN@ATL- The Bengals did pretty good last year and with that defense it will be too much for the Falcons and we lose this one. Final score 17-28
Week #8, BYE WEEK
Week #9, TB@ATL – TB just is not ready yet to have winning seasons. They are still a growing team and with that said, we win this game with Turner having 100+ yards and Matt Ryan with 275+ passing yards.
Week #10, BAL@ATL- The Ravens are a pretty good team but i think the hype is too much. The Falcons’ offense will show that the Ravens D can be beaten with ease. Final score 20-27
Week #11, ATL@STL- This is an easy win for the Falcons. I think Sam Bradford is pretty overrated, and with the Rams not having much talent the Falcons will win this game. Final score 35-10
Week #12, GB@ATL- I think this will be our toughest game of the year if not just as tough as the 49ers game. Packers are looking like a top 3 NFC team for the 2010-2011 season, and we lose this game. Final score 31-24
Week #13, ATL@TB- Nothing much to expect here but another win for the Falcons, but not much of a big win as our last meeting. I just can;t see Josh Freeman leading the Bucs to alot of wins anytime soon. Final score 24-14
Week #14, ATL@CAR- Even though I think the Panthers are gonna have pretty big problems this year, I think they come out with a close win with D. Williams having a great run game. Final score 17-20
Week #15, ATL@SEA- The Seahawks defense is pretty good in my opinion but I don’t see their offense producing enough to win this game. Final score 31-14
Week #16, NO@ATL, One of the best games this season for all to watch will be this one. Gotta love Monday Night Football right? Falcons come out strong like never before to win this game. Turner gets 150+ rushing yards this game. Final score 24-34
Week #17, CAR@ATL- The panthers are out from the playoffs so they don’t have enough to win this game.. Falcons win. Final score 17-27
Final Thoughts, Falcons win the NFC South div. with a overall record of 12-4
